Useful tools for evangelizing

Today I learned about several very useful links for taking gospel media presentations and using them to reach out to unreached people groups. I wanted to share them with you. I especially want to share them with my Canadian friends, because in the West, there are hundreds of people groups coming to YOU. Are they magically “reached” because they come to Canada? No. They need the gospel as much as when they were in foreign lands, but now the difference is that you are there to tell it to them!

Here are a few very, very useful audio/visual tools to bridge the gap between you and a person from a culture you do not know or understand:

Indigitube.tv is a platform for viewing and downloading videos and animations that share the gospel message in hundreds of different languages. This website is the result of a partnership called the 20/20 Vision. The goal of this campaign is, “To produce and distribute an indigenous evangelistic audio-visual tool for every one of the Least Evangelized Mega Peoples by the year 2020, so that all can clearly see and understand the gospel message and embrace it as their own”.

The Kolo World app allows both oral and literate people of the world to find their heart languages and listen to or view available audio Bibles, JESUS Films, and related content.  Playlists can then be created and shared for study or outreach.

It’s a free app! Check it out. It is easy to use and has hundreds of video resources that can tell the good news to hundreds of different cultures!

The DoveStream is an affordable device that can wirelessly transmit evangelism materials including video and audio files.

This is a great way to share the good news without even necessarily knowing you are sharing it. 😀 As we all know, when people are wandering around malls, or airports, or other public places, many of us constantly check our phones to see if we can catch a free Wifi network. Dove Stream shows up in the WiFi list, and has no password. When someone logs onto it, they may be surprised that it does not let them go onto facebook. But they may also be led by their curiosity (or the Spirit!) to check out the content available for viewing and free downloading on the Dove Stream, which may in turn expose them to the gospel, which may in turn soften their heart to Jesus, which may in turn be a method and means to them putting their faith in Jesus!

What are you waiting for? This may be the ticket for you enabling someone to understand the gospel for the first time in their lives. Get these resources! Tell people about Jesus! Do it now!
