I have quite a shamefully long list of art pieces that I say I’ll do for people, yet quite often neglect to do for ages and ages. Sometimes, however, a request gets bumped to the top of the list. This piece was a commission from a friend of mine who saw this fawn online with another friend:
They were so very endeared to it (as in, they couldn’t stop laughing at it) , that she asked me to do a larger painting of it so she could give it to her friend for his birthday. I took one look at the weird little thing and immediately said yes. What a creeping little fawn! I can barely get over it.
Anyway. It’s weird, but what fun it was to paint! Haha!
