Hi, I don’t know if I’ve met you yet, but I thought that I would write a letter to let you know how I’m doing on this day of love and lovers. I’m thinking of you, and how we will celebrate this day together someday. I must admit, I’m pretty excited for those future Valentine’s days to come.
Just so you know, I don’t have a date, so you need not be jealous or worried for me. I’m going to a hockey game with my dad! I don’t really like hockey, but I sure like my dad, so I’m vastly looking forward to it. Someday you’ll meet him. He’s wonderful, and I hope you’re kind of like him. He’s been a pretty awesome model of a husband and father for me to observe, so what’cha going to do? Challenge accepted? 😉
I want you to know that I pray for you every day. I hope you’re waiting for me like how I’m waiting for you. I pray that you’ll be growing closer and closer to God, and that He will be your primary love. I pray that you’ll be developing into the man God wants you to be, as God is developing me into the woman He wants me to be. I pray that He is revealing to you His character, and how He loves, so that you can learn to love people (and me) in a godly way.
I’m starting to fall for you, you know. Just knowing that God is the one who’ll send you to me makes my heart go buh-bump buh-bump. 😀 Don’t rush to me, though. Take your time. Walk with God, like I’m learning to do more and more. If we both wait on God, we’ll find each other in the most perfect timing, and it’ll be the most romantic, amazing God thing ever.
Your wife,
~Kyla
